This image was made in Sarajevo in 1963. A man is going off the train, holding a flower bouquet, and running under the rain. This image is an excellent example of a photo essay: we can think about the story beyond the picture, and it conveys emotions. I believe that the man was hurrying up on a date, he really wanted to impress his love and even covered the bouquet to keep it dry and beautiful. The mood of this photo is anticipation and love. This picture is black and white, so it really conveys the atmosphere of 1963. The dominant technique here is shutter speed: the central subject in this image is clear, with a little blur on the legs. Moreover, I also like the composition - the train is on the platform, and people are going around, but the man is only thinking about his love and doesn't see anyone.
