the beauty of simplicity

This photo is from 'Tiffany & Co.: the story behind the style' book. I chose to represent this image because of its simplicity and harmonious arrangement of objects in the frame. One more thing I like about it is the presence of a peony. I believe that flowers always make the composition look more fresh and delicate. Green leaves and a bowl of sugar cubes perfectly complement the frame. A silver spoon in the center makes things on this photo look more aristocratic and refined.
